I have played at venues and festivals including The Howard Theatre, The 930 Club, The Black Cat, Shamrockfest, Taste of DC, Taste of Arlington, The Gaylord National Resort and the Hamilton. I keep lessons fun and productive by learning songs the student wants to learn, and also include music notation and music theory to the extent that the student/parents want. While at Berklee I studied with guitarist such as Tomo Fujita, Jeffery Lockhart and John Wilkins and their teaching influences my lessons to focus on arpeggios and rhythmic patterns for more advanced students.
