Product Description: Our "¡Viva!” coffee is a medium roast, single origin beans from Pluma Hidalgo, Oaxaca. This is 100% pure Arabica coffee which gives an awakening aroma that is recognized for its balance, mild acidity, medium body, and distinguished flavor. The coffee is harvested at 4,265 ft. above sea level and around 16 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The high sea level and proximity to the ocean enable the coffee to capture unique characteristics that are similar to Jamaica’s “Blue Mountain” or Hawaii’s “Kona” coffee. The beans are known for their uniform size and oval shape, and a very special blue and greenish color. This is in part due to growing conditions that consist of: being shade grown in volcanic soil and, under cloud cover using only organic composts of leaves, coffee parchment, and fruit.
