Stabilized mulberry  burlturning blank knife scales handle casting piece Attempted to stabilized but didn't  penetrate like I was hoping  Measures at  5x3x2.4 Stabilized in cactus juice resin Blocks are sprayed with liquid in pictures to give an idea what a finishing it looks like as well as see the grain paths easier in the photos.  Stabilized blanks are special to knife makers and wood turners. All the air inside the block is filled in with resin to make it completely solid. The resin allows for a nicer finish with quicker output as it doesn't need sanded past 250grit
