Sharp-Keel Triggerfish, 2024 Found objects (vintage camera, machine and electro-mechanical parts), pressure-cast urethane resin, custom brackets, stained plywood panel, metal frame. Framed: 12.25 x 12.25 x 2.75 in (31.12 x 31.12 x 6.99 cm)Cast: 7.81 x 1 in (19.84 x 2.54 cm)Weight: 5.235lb This precision triggerfish is made mostly of resistors, wires clipped from said resistors, transformer wire and camera & watch parts. A few parts to note: the silver 'diamond' texture making up the cheek is a piece of reflector from a vintage strobe light for a handheld camera. The lower belly is defined by a scapel blade from my workbench. The gold-plated circular part defining the eye cavity is part of a slip ring mechanism from the dial of a camera.  The three custom brackets were designed by Lex, cut by the same third party, then finished and assembled by Lex.
