Stinky, 2024Found objects (camera parts, watch parts, electronics, transformer wire), pressure-cast urethane resin, alum/brass hanger.  I enjoy making these Shield bugs or Stink bugs (Pentatomidae). Oddly, I find them similar to creating a searhorse — they have a certain shape that has to flow to be convincing and I always find it an odd challenge. Cast: 3.8 x 1.45 in (9.65 x 3.68 cm) Weight: 0.73 lbs  Certificate of Authenticity included. Includes hanging screw for drywall or wood wall.  Embossed signature label on bottom of cast. There may be slight surface imperfections on all casts including small surface bubbles or curved edges. I highlight other notable blemishes in the images. The cast creature is susceptible to fingerprints, clean with a small amount of window cleaner and a soft cloth. Keep out of direct sunlight or high-emitting UV lights.
