About the leather:  Shinki Hikaku Shell Cordovan: Shinki Hikaku is a tannery from Japan specializing in shell cordovan and horsehide.  The process of making shell cordovan takes approximately 10 months at Shinki Hikaku.  It is such delicate craftsmanship that makes world-class shell cordovan.  Conceria Walpier's Buttero: Conceria Walpier is a tannery from Tuscany, Italy with more than 40 years of history.  They are well known for their high-quality vegetable-tanned leathers.  Buttero is their top grade, widely regarded as one of the best Italian vegetable tanned leathers.  It is full grain, has a medi
