Butter Cookies with almonds (Kourabiedes)

A pure butter cookie consisting of Flour, Butter, sugar, baking powder, eggs, vanilla and almonds in the mix.  We bake it until the bottom is slightly golden brown and remove it from the oven as it finishes cooking in the hot baking pan.   Once cooled down, we pile loads of powdered sugar on top.   The final result is a combination of a light, sweet, buttery meltdown in your mouth. Approximately 15 per pound.
