Honey Cookies with walnuts (Finikia)

 A one of a kind cookie.  Flour, butter, vegetable shortening, vegetable oil, sugar, milk, eggs, baking powder, vanilla, and clove are turned into an oval shaped cookie.   As soon as it comes out of the oven we combine our homemade syrup and honey and cover it completely and let it settle for a minimum of 24 hours until it has absorbed the syrup.  We then cover the top with chopped walnuts.  You cannot eat just one.     Approximately 9 cookies per lbs per tray.
