Black Mondo Grass is one of the more unusual plants we offer - It's truly black leaves are both an oddity in the plant world and an awesome sight when combined in the shade garden with plants which have white, pink or yellow in their leaves. Combine with 'White Nancy' lamium, silver ajuga, 'Burgundy Glow' ajuga or golden creeping jenny. Plants retain their black leaves year-round. Insignificant white flower spikes appear in summer, which turn into gorgeous cobalt-blue berries on 4-6" stalks in fall.
