Grown for its fast-growing, VERY FINE-TEXTURED foliage which covers solid wooden, brick or stone walls and fences, giving them a sophisticated look. Plants cling to the vertical surface on which they are grown, without harming the surface. Our area is the farthest north these plants may be planted. Most Winters, the plants lose their leaves, but stems remain alive, with leaves re-emerging the following Spring. In unusually cold Winter weather, stems may also die, with plants growing back from the roots.
