Mountain Fire Pieris

Grown for its gorgeous white flowers which hang in 4-6" clusters like strands of pearls. Flowers appear in early March and last for 2-3 months, often until late May! Gardeners love 'Mountain Fire' for the fiery-red coloration of its new growth each spring. This color gradually fades to deep-green. Pieris has wonderful evergreen foliage and loves a spot in the garden which receives some shade from the hottest part of the afternoon summer sun.
