Orange Rocket Barberry

Grown for its colorful small RED leaves and for its neat, UPRIGHT growth-habit which it retains with little or no trimming. 'Orange Rocket' breaks the monotony of an "all-green" border and contrasts well with golden-foliage plants, such as the golden spireas, golden yucca and golden euonymus - both the tall-growing and groundcover varieties. Plant alone as a colorful specimen or space about 2' apart for a NARROW garden hedge or screen. Early summer pale yellow flowers are followed by small, crimson red berries.
