Carolina Jessamine is the state flower of South Carolina - Gardeners love 'Pride of Augusta' for its "double-flowers". This evergreen vine is terrific for both sun or quite heavy shade and it produces gorgeous bright-yellow flowers for about 4-weeks in March or April. Plant at the base of fences, arbors, arches or walls. The vines will climb and support themselves by "twining" through lattice or chain-link fences, but must be tied to larger posts until the plant reaches the top.
