The fine texture and dense growth-habit of Mondo Grass keeps weeds at bay while providing a sophisticated green palette of color against which to highlight other plants, making it a great groundcover for shady areas. Plant Mondo Grass in mass under trees, as seen in our crapemyrtle allee, or as a border along paths and walkways. Plants retain their dark green leaves year-round. Insignificant white flower spikes appear in summer, turning into gorgeous COBALT-BLUE berries on 4-6" stalks in fall!
