Whiskey barrel-aged coffee Premium coffee cherries, harvested at peak ripeness high in the mountains of Nicaragua, are meticulously processed and then aged for 30 days in charred whiskey barrels from a craft distillery deep in the Poconos mountains. The high end spirits have caused the pores of the wood to open, now allowing the green coffee beans to be infused with the flavors of fine whiskey.The coffee beans are then roasted to perfection, burning off any remaining alcohol and leaving behind the natural flavors of oaky smoke and slight sweetness for a complex, exquisite coffee.
