HART - Homeless Animal Rescue Team

HART was founded in November 2012 and is a non profit organisation & 100% voluntary, we have no paid staff. We rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abandoned/pound dogs and stray cats if owners can not be found. They are wormed, de-flead, fully vaccinated & chipped by our vets and adults are also neutered prior to re-homing. If an animal needs special vet treatment we pay for that also; every animal in our care gets the treatment they need to let them lead a happy and healthy life. Home visits apply before an animal can be adopted and we offer a trial period as it takes time for pets to settle. We also have a neuter agreement in place that pups are neutered by the date we put on our contracts. We are foster-based but we do have to use private boarding kennels which we pay for, as there not enough foster homes available.
