Dates/Times: Fridays 11/21, 12/5, 12/12, 12/19, 2025, & 1/2, 2026 | 5:30 - 6:30 pm Description: Join us to crochet the Happypotamus: a cheerful, patchwork hippo you’ll proudly parade around! If you’re comfortable with chaining, single crochet, and double crochet, you’ve got all the skills you need. We’ll explore colorful African Flower motifs and assemble them into a squishy hippo friend. Bring your yarn stash (or treat yourself to new skeins) and get ready for cozy, creative Friday nights! This is an intermediate crochet skills class. The original pattern uses fingering weight wool with a 2 mm (US size 0) crochet hook and about 130 g of yarn. But don't panic-- you can absolutely use thicker yarn for a bigger, squishier hippo! Just be sure to grab extra yarn if you size up. This is a fantastic project for using up scraps; feel free to bring a rainbow assortment to play with. For our first class, just bring some colors so you can learn the African Flower Motif- no need to choose
