God's People and the Holy Spirit

 A Note of Introduction As you embark on this journey over the next 12 weeks to learn about the Holy Spirit and His interactions with God’s people open your heart and mind and let God’s Spirit shower you with enlightenment and joy.  The Spirit tries to communicate with believers today but we are often too busy doing good and listening to the noisy world to hear Him.  Commit to quieting your spirit so you can get to know God’s Spirit. According to a 1997 Barna Survey 61% of US residents agreed with the statement that the Holy Spirit is, “a symbol of God’s presence or power, but not a living entity.”  This view was also held by a near majority of all Christians that participated in the survey.  I am afraid to ask what the numbers would be today. Sisters, the Holy Spirit is God and is consistently referenced from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22 as such.  Let this study remind you that God didn’t intend for you to live your Christian life on your own or to have a spirit of fear.  He sent His Sp
