Description Use with the USB485 and USB485-HS Adapter. This is the filtered cable only.  Adapter head NOT included. Connector: USB Type A Male to Type 5-Pin Mini-B Male. Large ferrite filters help prevent USB driver lockups. With some computers, the USB ports/drivers will sometimes hangup. This cable help prevent those problems by filtering out the electrical noise that cause the PC to hang.
