Lightning Lap A1 (Linde A) Alumina Lap The Linde-A coated polishing lap contains the finest grade of Alumina polish available. With a 0.3 micron size, Linde-A polish produces a polish equal to that of 100,000 mesh diamond or better, and with no stress to sensitive stones. I especially favor it for Tsavorite, as it removes gem material slow and steady in a very controlled manner without overrunning meets! Oxide polishes are generally more gentle to expensive rough materials. Available in both Standard and Topper formats. The Topper Polishing System is the same product as the original LL, except with a thickness of 0.125". It must be used on a master lap. 1/2" arbor hole. Please note. Due to the popularity of our Standard format of Lightning laps, ready to ship supplies are limited. If you need to order more than one Standard format lap per type or grit size, we may not have stock on hand for immediate shipment. Orders of multiple standard toppers of the same type or grit size may take up to six weeks for fulfillment, please contact us for details.
