The projectors were the original Hella "E55" bi-xenon which notoriosly burnt up over time, leaving you with dangerously dim light out.  The lenses are now worn; which ages your front end and degrades your lighting performance.  The Best Performance: You'll get one of the top-performing units with our E53 LCI projector retrofit conversion. Our conversions feature the G5-R Bi-Xenon Projectors. You will be able to retain the use of stock ballasts, bulbs, and wiring, which keeps the engine bay looking 100% original.  The adaptive leveling feature is fully retained with the use of our AFS brackets.  New Lenses: Factory E53 LCI headlight lenses are all deteriorating by now.
