"Payday"
Payday Run, Park City, Utah The techniques used in this image are very different from the rest of my portfolio. It was accomplished by positioning my camera on a tripod pointed at this ski slope, and photographing every skier that came down over the course of half an hour. I then layered all of the images together, so that every single skier is exactly where they were on the slope, just at slightly different times. Using this process, you're able to capture all the myriad of different experiences that happen on a ski slope over any given duration of time. I just loved the whimsy and color it created, and I hope to design a whole series of images around it. This image is entitled "Payday" after the Payday run in Park City, Utah.
