Embrace

Horseshoe Bend, ArizonaArizona is a special place to me. I feel so at home hiking through the canyons and deserts. It has a certain magical feeling to it, which I love to capture on film. As I peered over the edge of this canyon I was stunned–I felt like an ant on the edge of this gigantic amphitheater. I lay on my stomach and perched the camera on a rock ledge, using an ultra wide-angle lens to encompass this whole scene. This is nature at its best, the massive Colorado River below and an endless plateau of ochre stone in the background.
