Here is a 1992 Gibson USA Flying V '67 that plays absolutely fantastic.  I've been skeptical of the Good Wood Era mythos... the last 5 early 90s Gibsons have made me a believer.  The neck is straight and the truss rod functions properly.  The frets have been leveled/crowned/polished.  The action is low and comfortable.  No buzzing; no fretting out on bends.The electronics were replaced 4-5 years ago by the CTS 550K Potentiometer date codes of the 48th week of 2016.  The pickups are modern Gibson pickups when the embossed logo on the baseplate.  The meter at just 7.9 kΩ and 14.8 kΩ which leans towards a 490R for the neck and 498T in the bridge.  Electronic work was meticulously done in a very neat and organized fashion.This guitar has been played and it shows.  Plenty of dings/chips/scratches all over the body/neck/headstock.  Nothing that would be considered excessive in terms of a well played guitar.  There is some of the infamous "Guitar Stand Burn" visible on the back of the neck an
