GODS Playing Cards

The Gods Playing Cards is based on a Greek mythological heroes theme where we use 12 renowned Greek heroes to represent all 12 characters in the court cards. Each character was studied to ensure we had a good understanding of the character before we went into the sketching stage. And as on standard playing cards, we wanted the characters to be holding an artifact which is related to themselves such as the king of diamonds holding a cornucopia which symbolizes abundance and wealth and on the jack on clubs is Dionysus who is the god of wine so he is holding some grapes and a cup of wine.  The below is the list of Greek gods on the cards.
