Students explore engineering careers and their impacts on society, and they learn how mathematics and science are used in the field of engineering. They examine different engineering disciplines, the engineering design process, and various engineering styles and methods used in the field. Students take part in hands-on learning as they work through a real-life design problem and solve it through the steps of the engineering design process.
