Basil Hayden Subtle Smoke, Is Crafted By The Initial Toasting And Lightly Charring Of A Secondary Barrel. Afterwards, Hickory-smoked Chips Are Ignited At A Constant Feed To Produce Smoke, Which Is Then Pumped Into The Barrel, Resulting In What’s Described As Soft, Charred Notes. Bourbon Then Goes Through A Secondary Aging Process In These Special Barrels For Six Months.
