Launched in 1999, and produced at the Girvan distillery in Scotland by William Grant & Sons, Hendrick's Gin is an exceptional gin brand. It was invented by a Yorkshire native, Lesley Gracie, who was hired by William Grant & Sons to create the perfect gin. It took her about a decade to create the super-premium gin that we all know today, called Hendrick's Gin. When it comes to the distillation process, this blend of spirits is made from Carter-Head Still, which was constructed in 1948 and there are only a couple left in the world. Hendrick's also uses a small pot still that was built by Bennett, Sons & Shears, in 1860. After they were bought at the auction in the 60s, by Charles Gordon who was the former William Grant Life President, both have been restored to work again. These two stills are known to produce completely different styles of gin because they are both made so differently and also use a different distillation process.
