We named this one shortie because it hits just above the ankle bone. It measures 3" from the heel cap to the creme tipping at the top. Our tipped rib wool cashmere shortie socks will comfortably fit a women's shoe size 6 - 9.5, maybe 10 but not beyond. One size. This is the lightest weight sock we make. And it is so soft! A 2 by 1 rib stitch pattern made on an 84 needle knitting machine, it's a great transition sock. Perfect for cool summer evenings or early fall mornings.
