Breathing Life Into Your Historical Characters ~ with Diana Dimarco

Historical fiction answers questions that readers won’t find answers to in the pages of a history book. It allows authors to explore the human side of famous figures and presents a new perspective to what we may already know--or think we know. In this workshop, expert Diana Dimarco will show you how to develop your own historical characters and tell the story without getting lost in the facts and figures often associated with history. By the end, you will have an idea of a new plot line, a historical character to write about, and a chance to begin your rough draft!   Diana DiMarco holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and has written several historical fiction short stories. She is currently working on a fantasy novel and is planning a historical fiction novel based on her obsession with the Tudors .
