Elevator Speech Workshop: Pitching Yourself to Jobs and Colleges ~ with Meagan Bojarski

Learn everything you need to know to write and perfect your “elevator speech”. An elevator speech is a one to three minute speech about yourself that you can give at a job fair, networking event, or interview that quickly summarizes your interests, experience, and personality. This workshop is a must for anyone heading into the job market or into research or performance-oriented college programs. Expert Meagan Bojarski, will explain the basics of an elevator speech, present her own as an example, and help build and revise individual students’ elevator speeches. This workshop is entirely interactive, so come prepared to dive in!   *Meagan Bojarski is an experienced public speaking instructor with a Masters in Communication and Rhetorical Studies from Syracuse University. She has spoken at several different conferences about topics ranging history, communication practices, and popular culture, and has a book chapter in the works with McFarland & Company, Inc.
