Leave the fields before the sun is high, lest Lady Midday catch you with her sickle. Notes include towering cypress trees, warm myrrh, freshly chopped pine, white musk, distant wood smoke, and tonka beans. Available in 1 ml sample size, 4 ml dram, or 10 ml Euro Dropper (with reducer cap). Lady Midday is a being found in Slavic mythology. She has many names, including Noonwraith, Noon Witch, and Poludnitsa (with further variants based on country). She is the personification of heatstroke, appearing at the hottest part of the day and attacking those still working in the fields, injuring them or driving them mad. She takes many forms (sometimes appearing as an old woman, other times as a young girl), often dressed in white and carrying a scythe or sickle. Our scent homage to her is dry and warm, made a bit stark with fragrant cypress and pine. The myrrh blends the woods with the tonka and makes space for just a bit of smoke.
