Overgrown grass, tangled undergrowth, wildflowers, the memory of fresh linens, and distant, greener pastures. Notes of moss, gentle sage, fern, sweet grasses, green wood, and chamomile flowers. Available in 1 ml sample size, 4 ml dram, or 10 ml Euro Dropper (with reducer cap). Poor Farm is an homage to the Chippewa County Poor Farm Cemetery, a burial ground abandoned by the city for at least 30 years before being rediscovered and rehabbed in 2008. The majority of those buried here have markers bearing only their names, no dates. It is our ongoing personal project to uncover more about the lives of those buried here, with the goal of making this information public and available onsite. It is a beautiful, peaceful place, for all the sorrow it contains. Our scent homage to the Poor Farm and those it holds is incredibly fresh and green, with an underlying gentle sweetness that never gets cloying.
