We swapped in blood oranges and used only ripe, fresh fruits from California farms to give this shrub a local flavor. Shrubs are a slightly sweet, acidic syrup usually made from vinegar, sugar, and fruit juices. Ours are handcrafted steps from the orchard with the award-winning ACV of our hand picked apples.
