Rocky Mountain Parnassian ‘Parnassius smintheus’ is a high altitude butterfly found in the Rocky Mountains of the United States and Canada.  They are medium-sized butterflies with incredible wing muscles and other adaptations to live at the tops of mountains. This awesome family of butterflies can only be found in some of the highest mountains around the world.  Both males and females for sale.Unmounted, dried, with wings folded closed.
