Layens Starter Hive - Swarm Trap - 7 Frames (Discounted)

Note: This is a discounted product since the box was a little bit too wide by 1/4". Two little strips of wood were added at the top to keep the frames tight and the box's performance should not be affected at all. This 7 frames swarm trap is perfect for catching swarms of bees as it is the perfect volume (~40 liters / ~10 gallons) to catch big swarm of bees. It is also perfect as a starter hive as the bees will have plenty of room to start their colony. This box hasn't been painted, treated or stained.  Included features are: Made of 3/4" thick pine, untreated, unpainted and unstained. 1.25" entrance with disc which helps move the colony once the swarm has been caught; 3 ventilation holes at the top with screen; 7 Layens frames, assembled and wired. A lid with aluminum flashing.
