3.75" Indonesian Megalodon Tooth Approx. Dimensions: 3.75x2.75x0.75 inches Approx. Weight: 107 grams Locality: West Java, Indonesia This beautiful fossilized Megalodon tooth has good color. The sides are sharply serrated along the entire length. The tip shows slight damage, but otherwise this tooth is in great condition with entact enamel and a well shaped root. We have found that Megalodon teeth from Indonesia are UV reactive under a long-wave UV light! They will glow a pale yellow to white, and will even phosphoresce after the light has been turned off. This tooth will include the acrylic display stand shown in the photos. Megalodon teeth from West Java, Indonesia started hitting the market several years ago. Unlike Megalodon teeth found off the cost of the Americas, Indonesian specimens are mined from inland sites among layers of limestone. The roots most often have erosion, possibly due to acidic soil conditions.
