Saturday, November 8, 202510:00 am - 1:00 pm, PST  Instructor: Jennifer Stenhouse The simple wire basket setting is a great alternative for faceted, cabochon, free-form stone, and found objects. Demonstration and discussion include a variety of ways to use wire to customize your designs and set objects like stones in prong settings. Students are encouraged to produce both samples and finished elements for jewelry applications. They can also watch and make pieces later! We will discuss a few great soldering and construction tips that apply to several soldering applications, including soldering jigs. Participants are encouraged to work in sterling silver 18g wire to create samples and finished projects. But copper or brass wire will work as well. Prerequisite: Ability to solder independently.
