Sometimes referred to as micro-casting, students will learn to operate on a smaller scale with confidence! Students will learn the essentials of the entire casting process, from making wax models, sprueing, investing, casting, and finishing. The primary focus will be on using vacuum casting, although other casting techniques will also be discussed. Topics covered will include the proper use of tools and equipment for best casting results. Students may work with a variety of waxes to create models.
