However, not all torches or soldering situations are the same. There are many types of torches available. We are going to focus on the benefits of the Orca/EZ Torch for propane/atmospheric air and its potential to be a good introductory torch for your studio. I will introduce the torch, demonstrate setup, and discuss safety. I will demonstrate how to adjust the torch for large and small soldering situations, and go over the uses of the three different tips. We can also address soldering challenges each participant may be facing with projects.  This torch is designed for propane use only, and is an excellent option for a small rented studio or apartment, since the disposable 1 lb or refillable 5 lb propane tanks are safe for use and permitted indoors.
