Stanhopea reichenbachiana 4in basket

Uncommon orchid that will do really well in a greenhouse but isn't recommended for low humidity, household growing. Bucket-like blooms will emerge from the bottom and sides of the plant and last 2-3 days - it is recommended to grow in a basket or pot with large holes in the bottom. Medium-high humidity is necessary for flowers to form. Frequent watering, shaded bright indirect light.  This is a mature, blooming size orchid. Blooms may vary from pictured.
