Penguin Chick

This adorable little Penguin Chick soft toy has been designed to look like its real-life counterpart. There are 17 species of penguins, with the Emperor Penguin being the tallest at 1.1 metres tall. When penguin eggs are laid, the father looks after it on his own, standing over the egg for two months to keep it warm. That’s dedicated babysitting! When they’re hatched, they’re covered in fuzzy feathers that keep them toasty and warm. They’re born either grey or black which changes into blue-grey on their back with a white belly. When they’re strong enough, the mothers leave all of their chicks together. When they come back, they find their chick by their recognising their voice.
