Wild Boar piglets can have as many as 10 brothers and sisters to contend with! Their light ginger-brown coat, with stripes, provides them with camouflage to hide from predators. Just like our little piggy here, who has been designed to look as realistic as possible and simply adorable to hug. Wild boars are very similar to pigs, but they have stocky, powerful bodies with a double layer of grey-brown fur. Their top layer is made up of wiry, bristly hair and the under layer is a softer, short coat. Their tusks are very distinctive, pointing upwards from their lower jaw, and are used to protect themselves from predators. They’re nocturnal animals so they’re most active at night. That’s when they’ll hunt for their food.
