Golden Dawn

Golden Dawn is an enlivening tippy red tea from premium, grade one golden buds and leaves. Rich, silky, layered and smooth, the malty cacao notes rise out of honey-caramel undercurrents. The buds are harvested early in the season and are oxidized like traditional red tea, but due to their youth and high quality, they retain a golden amber hue rather than turning fully dark. Pure buds teas are labor-intensive to produce as only the young buds are used. The tannin-rich buds produce a smooth, full-bodied tea that's unique within the world of red tea. This organic golden monkey was produced in Fanjing Shan of Guizhou from a tea garden at 1000m. The cultivar is Fuding Xiaoye. Golden Dawn was harvested in Qingming during the early spring when the buds are most tender and ideal. Origin: Fanjing Shan, Guijou, China 2025
