Creamy, milky, floral and sweet, Golden Lily (Jin Xuan) is a Taiwanese cultivar developed in the early 1980's. A number of formosa varieties were hybridized to yield the milky flavor that distinguishes it from the traditional cultivars of Lishan, Dong Ding and Alishan. Our organic Golden Daylily comes from May-harvest, high altitude gardens and is fully hand-processed. The bright floral tea is carried on a buttercream body that seems to get thicker and milkier throughout a tea session as the balled leaves unfurl. This is spring and summer tea at its finest, and will satisfy any Oolong lover, while easily converting puerh diehards. Origin: Alishan, Taiwan - 2025
