Nettle Top or Bottom Step

Hand knotted in Nepal at 100 knots per inch. A relative of Stinging Nettle, "Allo” as it is known in Nepal is similar to Hemp in that it is a strong natural fiber used in fabrics, rope and hand made rugs. Entirely untreated and undyed, it has an earthy tone, slightly darker than hemp and not as ochre in hue.
