This cutting board is edge-grained with exotic Wenge, Padauk, and Maple hardwoods. Wenge is a hard, dark grained native wood from Africa within the Zaire, Cameroon, and Congo regions. This board is 1¼” thick and comes with a juice groove, cut in finger holds, and rubber feet. **Fun Fact - This wood is considered to have mythical powers by the native people of the region.
