The Gen 4 F-150 is a completely different variation of the Coyote compared to all previous generations. Due to the changes in Ford’s designs the camshaft installs on the Gen 4 F-150 is more advanced than prior years. With the changes in the overall platform the camshaft profile has similarities to previous designs that have been reworked for the new valve train geometry.
