Sunset Street 48x48x1.5 Acrylic on Canvas $2,304 Artist Statement: This abstract piece resembles a new experimentation style LOBO wanted to bring into her artwork. As she usually finds a job in gestural abstract painting, she wanted to experiment with line work and hard edges to see what kind of depth she could create. This piece was painted with mostly a painting knife and then edges were fine tuned with a brush. It is open to interpretation with its viewer, some see street cars and wheels, some see a sunset next to a canyon. The abstract piece carries a story that can be crafted by the viewer depending on how they want to shape it to relate to their own stories.
