These 108 bead prayer bead (malas bead) necklaces are island inspired and proudly handmade in Jamaica by people with disabilities. Indigenous Job's tears seeds are mixed with semi-precious gemstones to create these beautiful pieces. The Job's tears seeds come from an ornamental grass in Jamaica. The seeds are harvested by a local farmer and the jewelry is assembled by a small community of artisans. Each piece is made with thought, intention and love and provides blessing and protection to the wearer.
